I am a fatty brisket type guy. How is melts in your when done right cannot be duplicated and this place has it. I ordered the dinner portion and the flavor was on point but the cook was perfect. The brisket had a nice bark on it and I didn't need sauce. (Personally i think if you put sauce on brisket it's because the brisket is too dry) anyway the sides were delicious too, it's not an afterthought the Mac and cheese and fries were awesome. They also has this thing that was like a funnel cake with no sugar that was fantastic. I ordered at the counter and had my food within 5 minutes. It's a cool place and as a native southerner, you do feel like you're eating in a restaurant in the south and a small town. It has a cool vibe to it. You get a lot of food too. I totally had the meat sweats when I was finished...

***8 years later update: I came in after a long drive from Orlando craving bbq. I was hesitant because of my last experience (i gave it a 1 out of 5) but have seen some good reviews recently and let me tell you. Excellent customer service, it was about a 15 min wait this time but I was let known the wait time so I was fine with it. The beans were a completely different recipe it was delicious, I got the brisket, also delicious and the Mac and cheese was good too! I definitely recommend this place and can't wait to come back! I was excited to eat here after reading the good reviews. The food took awhile (30minutes) especially with them having no customers but the pulled pork sandwich 2 sides and fried pie only came out to $8.25 :) unfortunately, the fried green tomatoes were sour and soggy with no sauce to dip them in I'm not sure what kind of baked beans that was it had shredded chicken pinto, black and Lima beans and a very watery sauce it was awful and the pulled pork sandwich wasn't anything special at all . I also tried the pie which had good reviews I got strawberry it was just pie filling rolled in an egg roll it wasn't good either. Never again
